Turn a PDF into flashcards
Pick a PDF on your phone and Versper writes flashcards and a quiz from it. Versper is a study app for iPhone and Android; it writes a card for each idea worth keeping in the document, and also reads Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Pages, Keynote and Numbers files.

Which files can Versper turn into flashcards?
Versper reads PDF files, Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, and Pages, Keynote and Numbers files. A file can be up to 50 MB. You can put several files in the same study set, for example the lecture slides and the chapter of the textbook.
Does Versper read figures, tables and scanned pages?
Yes. Versper reads the whole document, including tables and figures, not only the text. A scanned PDF works like a photo of the page. When a page is hard to read, the cards made from it are less reliable: check them.
Is there a page limit?
A free account reads up to 40 pages per study set, and Versper Plus up to 300. When a document is longer, Versper asks which pages to read before anything is used, and the set says how many pages were not read.
